Norway has promised to help Somalia to pursue improved security and economic development.
This followed a meeting between Abshir Omar Jama Huruse and Anne Beathe Tvinnereim in Mogadishu on Saturday.
Huruse is the federal Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Tvinnereim, the Norwegian Minister of International Development, is currently in Mogadishu on an official visit.
They discussed several issues of mutual benefit to the two nations.
The Norwegian minister informed Huruse of the plans that her country has to help boost regional security and economic development in Somalia.
