Norway to Improve Development Projects in Somalia

Norway has promised to improve development projects in Somalia.

This follows a meeting between Vebjorn Dysvik and Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama in Mogadishu.

Dysvik, the Director General at Norway’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led a delegation of Norwegian officials in visiting the Deputy Prime Minister.

Other Norwegian officials at the meeting included Carsten Carlson Charge and Gunnar Holm.

The latter is the Norwegian Ambassador to Somalia and Kenya.

They discussed a number of issues including enhancing bilateral ties, fast response to floods.

Humanitarian response, stabilization, and the ongoing war on terrorists also featured prominently in their discussions.
