The Deputy Prime Minister, Salah Ahmed Jama, visited the Ministry of Defence today on an inspection tour as well as to oversee its operations.
During the visit, he received a detailed briefing from Defence Minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, senior Somali National Army (SNA) officials, and civil servants.
The discussions focused on the ministry’s ongoing reconsideration, reform, and development programs, as well as updates on the liberation war against the Khawarij.
The visit underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing national defense capabilities and addressing security challenges.
