Somalia’s Minister of Defense was in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to convey condolences for the four soldiers murdered in Mogadishu over the weekend.
Defense minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur visited UAE on Wednesday to convey Somalia’s condolences.
Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the five soldiers who were murdered at the General Gordan Military Camp in Mogadishu.
Nur called those killed in the attack, who included a Bahraini soldier, martyrs.
He added that their deaths would strengthen relations between Somalia and the UAE.
