A top official of the National Union of Somalia Journalists (NUSOJ) commended Bihi Egeh for leading a successful review by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Omar Faruk Osman, the NUSOJ Secretary-General, heaped praises on Egeh, the Minister of Finance, for the “remarkable leadership” displayed in such an important undertaking.
Osman’s praises follow the successful completion of the Sixth Review of Somalia’s Extended Credit Facility (ECF).
He paid Egeh a courtesy call on Tuesday at the ministry’s headquarters in Mogadishu.
The review took place over the weekend.
He took the opportunity to extend a raft of “actionable and concrete recommendations” from trade unions in the country.
