Justin Brady, the Head of OCHA Somalia, has left office as his term ended today.
Brady announced this news via Twitter while hailing those who had supported him during his term in office.
He also expressed gratitude to all those who offered useful criticism.
Brady said the timing was not right, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic that the country has been grappling with in 2020.
Meanwhile, President Mohamed Abdi Ware of HirShabelle State extended his warm regards to Brady, OCHA Somalia and UN in Somalia (UNSOM).
President Ware said the two organizations had been important partners in helping HirShabelle State to deal with major floods that hit the area the last two years.
He wished Brady safe travel and success in his future endeavors.
