One civilian was killed as Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) carried out airstrikes in Gedo region on October 8.
According to local officials, military jets from Kenya carried out extensive airstrikes at Balad-Hawo and Garbaharey towns.
During the attack, one civilian was killed.
Several civilians were injured and rushed to hospital for treatment.
However, Somali officials are yet to release details of the civilians killed or injured during the Thursday airstrikes.
KDF officials have not issued any statement on the incident either.
