Members of the Council of Presidential Candidates Union held a virtual meeting with Somalia’s international partners on April 26.
The Union features candidates from the opposition parties.
Monday’s meeting focused on several issues affecting Somalia.
First, the opposition leaders discussed the ongoing political crisis in the East African nation.
Their discussion centered around the likelihood of conflict taking place, especially after the clashes reported in Mogadishu on the night of April 25.
Somalia has been in an unending crisis after the country failed to hold presidential elections following the expiry of President Mohamed Farmaajo’s term on February 8.
