President Muse Bihi Abdi chaired his final cabinet meeting at the presidential palace in Hargeisa on Wednesday, marking the end of his administration’s tenure following the elections Somaliland held on November 13.
The cabinet praised the successful conduct of the recent elections, highlighting that 90% of their funding came from local resources—an achievement showcasing Somaliland’s growing self-sufficiency and democratic commitment.
In his remarks, President Bihi urged the KULMIYE Party to embrace its new role as a constructive opposition, emphasizing the importance of fostering a healthy political environment.
The cabinet collectively called for national unity and collaboration during this pivotal transition period, reiterating the need to prioritize stability and progress for the benefit of all Somalilanders.
