Over the past year, the NRC Eastern and Southern Africa organization has worked long hours to provide long-term water solutions in Jowhar.
NRC worked closely with other organizations such as the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and Somalia Humanitarian Fund (SHF) to make this a reality.
Their hard work culminated in provision of long-term water solutions for the most vulnerable populations affected by severe drought.
Thanks to these efforts, improved Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services have now reached 19,400 people in four rural villages and displacement camps in Jowhar.
