Over 2 Million Livestock Treated in Somalia’s Southwest State

More than 2 million livestock in Somalia’s Southwest state have received treatment in an ongoing campaign.

The livestock treatment campaign in the regional state of Southwest has been a tremendous success.

United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) sponsored the ongoing campaign.

As per the organization’s report on August 23, the campaign has thus far allowed officials to treat 2,001,324 livestock in the Southwest state.

The livestock belongs to 50,033 pastoral households in the region.
