Somali National Army (SNA) troops have killed over 20 Al-Shabaab militants in three separate operations in the Ruun-nirgood and Mesegawa areas.
During the operations, government forces recovered 10 weapons, including AK-47s and RBGs, as well as three vehicles carrying 130 jerry cans of fuel and other supplies intended for the militants.
SNA forces killed the Al-Shabaab militants in operations undertaken on Friday morning.
The weapons seized in the operations are now in the hands of the security agencies, which vowed not to relent in their offensives against the terrorist group.
