The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says that more than 4.1 million people in Somalia accessed drought response activities this year.
OCHA issued these numbers in its latest report on the ongoing drought in Somalia.
According to the latest OCHA report, more than 4.1 million people in Somalia benefited from these activities between January and June 2022.
OCHA stated that those who accessed the activities represented 65 percent of the number that needed such interventions.
Generally, authorities targeted 6.8 million individuals.
The organization also called for the scaling up of all kinds of interventions.
