More than 4 million Somalis are food insecure.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) declared this in its latest report published on Tuesday.
In the report, OCHA also stated that around 75 percent of all Somalis in the country are unable to access healthcare services.
OCHA added that urgent measures are needed to reverse the situation.
It reiterated the earlier findings that more than 6.9 million people in the country require urgent humanitarian interventions.
