More than 6.6 million people in Somalia have no access to quality healthcare.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed this in its latest report.
OCHA released the report on Tuesday.
In it, the organization listed the main barriers to healthcare in Somalia. These include the absence of functional health facilities and the unaffordability of health services.
It added a lack of medical supplies or services as yet another factor hindering access to healthcare.
Consequently, the organization calls for measures that target over 3.8 million people.
