Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) provided food supplies to over 750 families in Baraawe.
During the Sunday exercise, SODMA prioritized internally displaced persons (IDPs), the disabled, and those in poverty.
The distribution event was attended by SODMA’s Sahra Ali Yusuf and Baraawe Mayor Omar Sheikh Abdi.
Deputy Mayor Ismail Abdullahi and many other officials attended the ceremony held while handing over the food supplies to the needy families.
This effort is part of ongoing support for vulnerable communities in Somalia.
