A meeting between Duran Farah and General Ghazi Salahuddin revealed this latest development.
Farah is Somalia’s Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation.
Gen. Salahuddin is from Pakistan Airforce.
The Pakistani military officer is in the East African nation on a working visit.
During their meeting on March 17, Farah and Gen. Salahuddin discussed ways in which Pakistani can boost Somalia’s aviation and airspace control.
Ahmed M. Hassan, the Director-General of Somalia’s Civil Aviation Authority, also attended Thursday’s meeting.
