Peace talks have commenced in Adale town.
Traditional elders have taken the frontline in leading efforts to stop clashes between vigilante groups from various clans.
Credible sources informed the media that countless people have died in the clashes.
According to their estimates, around 20 people have lost their lives since the clashes broke out while more than 1,500 have become internally displaced persons (IDPs).
The elders-driven peace talks kicked off on Wednesday, November 16.
