Mogadishu will soon have a pedestrian bridge.
Mayor Yusuf Hussein Madale laid the foundation stone to kick off the construction of the bridge that will serve pedestrians in the nation’s capital.
The bridge will be in Wadajir district.
Mayor Madale, who also serves as the Governor of the Benadir Regional Administration (BRA), laid the foundation stone on Sunday.
Once complete, the bridge would provide walkers with a safe mode of passage.
