The National AIDS Commission has donated several food parcels to persons living with HIV/AIDS in Burao, which is the administrative capital of the Togder region.

The organization’s Director for Welfare and Treatment, Ms. Sahra Mohamed Hussein, said that they donated food parcels to help patients living with HIV/AIDS over the Ramadan period.

Mahdi Jama Nur, the organization’s representative in the region, received the packages on behalf of the patients.

The donations include sugar, rice, wheat flour, dates, beans, milk, pasta and maize.

This is not the first time the National AIDS Commission is donating food during the Holy Month of Ramadan. It has done this continuously in different parts of the country during this season.
