Two planes carrying food aid arrived in Dollow from Mogadishu.
The planes departed from the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu before landing in Dollow, Gedo.
They delivered food supplies to residents of the area made vulnerable by the ongoing drought and the resultant humanitarian crisis in the region.
Mohamud Moalim, the Chairperson of the Somalia Disaster Management Agency (SODMA), coordinated the transportation and delivery of the food aid.
Somalia remains one of the countries hit the hardest by the ongoing drought in the region.
