Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has appointed Abdisalam Abdi Ali as the Second Deputy Prime Minister, according to reports.
Before this new role, Abdisalam served as the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of General Works.
This appointment comes as part of ongoing government efforts to strengthen the leadership team amid challenges in security, governance, and economic development.
