Mogadishu, Somalia – Speaking at a vibrant event marking Türkiye’s Youth and Sports Day at the Turkish Embassy in Mogadishu, Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre lauded the enduring partnership between Somalia and Türkiye, describing the latter as a “true brother and partner in progress.”
The event, held in honor of one of Türkiye’s most significant national holidays, brought together Somali officials, Turkish diplomats, and a large gathering of Somali youth.

He praised the resilience and potential of Somali youth and highlighted ongoing joint projects aimed at enhancing education, vocational training, and sports infrastructure.
