Somali Police Force (SPF) officers have arrested a man accused of raping and kidnapping an 11-year-old girl in Mogadishu.
Yusuf Dahir Hussein, a 53-year-old man, is now in police custody over the crime committed in the nation’s capital on March 31.
Police sources confirmed Hussein’s arrest.
They added that he would be presented to the court to answer the charges filed against him. The police added that they would continue combating sexual capital, especially in Mogadishu.
