Mogadishu, Somalia – The head of the Somali Police Force (SPF), Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, conducted a comprehensive inspection and practice parade at the General Kahiye Police Academy on Friday. This activity represents the concluding phase of arrangements for the imminent 82nd anniversary of the SPF’s founding.
At the ceremony conducted at the recently upgraded General Kahiye Academy, Brig. Gen. Abdullahi accepted the salute from numerous battalions carefully organized for the significant commemoration. The evaluation demonstrated the preparedness and professionalism of the force, with multiple units executing perfectly coordinated marching maneuvers.
The practice display emphasized the enhanced capacities of the organization, including specialized sections like tactical forces dressed in green combat uniforms and protective headgear. Women officers formed an integral component of the assembly, reflecting the diverse character of the force. Moreover, the police musical ensemble and standard bearers were included to guarantee adherence to official ceremonial procedures.
