A polio vaccination campaign has kicked off in Somalia’s regional state of Southwest.
The vaccination campaign is the product of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
Through its Somali office, UNICEF launched the campaign in Southwest jointly with local authorities.
The campaign seeks to vaccinate over 2.5 million children in the area.
It targets children who are under the age of 5.
