President Musa Bihi Abdi has sent congratulatory messages to the United States of America as it celebrates Independence Day.
The US celebrates its Independence Day on July 4 of each year.
This year, the country is celebrating its 244th Independence Day anniversary despite COVID-19 fears and the recent protests in different cities.
While delivering his congratulatory message, President Bihi reminded US that the two share a history because the same colonial master once ruled over them both.
Bihi also reminded the United States that his country would continue supporting it.
