President Muse Bihi Abdi held a meeting with Taiwan’s Representative to Somaliland on Monday, October 26.
Bihi’s meeting with Allen Chengwa Lou took place at his office in Hargeisa.
President Bihi and Taiwan’s Representative discussed several issues important for strengthening the bilateral relations between their respective nations.
Some of the topics they discussed touched on education, trade, and ICT.
The two leaders also discussed health, especially now that Somaliland needs more investments to improve its health infrastructure.
Mid this year, Somaliland and Taiwan both agreed to establish representative offices in each other’s territory to strengthen relations between them.
