President Musa Bihi Abdi toured the Abdillahi Askar Military Academy and reiterated the need for stability if the country is to develop.
While touring the facility, President Bihi expressed gratitude to the military and security forces for the role they played in ensuring that stability prevails in the country.
The president also took the opportunity to inspect military equipment and a guard of honor mounted in his honor.
Bihi also reminded the military of the three pillars upon which their essence rests; namely, aspiration, patriotism, and bravery.
Additionally, he spoke of the crucial role that police play in guaranteeing that Somaliland remains a country that respects the rule of law.
Maj. Gen. Nouh Ismail Tani, the Chief Commander of the Military, spoke of the gratitude the security forces have towards President Bihi’s administration.
Specifically, Maj. Gen. Tani mentioned the many projects that Bihi’s administration has undertaken to modernize the country’s security forces.
