President Musa Bihi Abdi has toured the main military academy in Somaliland and underscored the role of peace and stability in enhancing development.
During his tour, Bihi reminded the military of the critical role they play in the nation’s development and prosperity.
He commended them for the high level of training offered to new recruits. Bihi also praised the veterans for displaying utmost professionalism in their service to the nation.
President Bihi toured the academy while visiting the Abdillahi Askar Military Base where it is based.
He also took time to inspect the guard of honor mounted in his honor.
Bihi recognized the huge achievements that have been made at the facility, which is now able to train cadet officers and hold graduation ceremonies for the successful ones.
