President Said Abdullahi Deni is prepared to spearhead the amendment of the Puntland Chamber of Commerce Act.
The President revealed this on Thursday, August 19 when he chaired this week’s cabinet meeting.
Deni and his cabinet met in Garowe, the regional state’s capital.
They discussed several issues though the amendment of this act seemed to be the most prioritized item on the agenda.
Other issues discussed included COVID-19 vaccines, which Somalia received from its international partners this month.
The issue of insecurity also permeated the cabinet discussions.
