President Farmaajo Delivers Eid-al-Fitr Messages to Somalis

President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has delivered congratulatory messages to Somalis in the country as they celebrate Eid-al-Fitr.

Worldwide, Muslims have been marking the Holy Month of Ramadan, which is set to end this weekend in the Horn of Africa region and most parts of the world.

Consequently, Farmaajo took the time to speak with Somalis while wishing them “warm and best wishes” as they observe Eid-al-Fitr.

Further, he commended Somali Muslims for the support they have extended to their needy and poor friends and relatives over Ramadan.

Additionally, he expressed his gratitude to Somalis who braved Ramadan at a time when the government had imposed curfews and lockdowns to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Farmaajo thanked the security authorities for ensuring that the country remained relatively safe, peaceful, and quiet during Ramadan.
