Hargeisa, Somaliland — President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro met with leading figures from Somaliland’s business community in a consultative forum aimed at deepening public–private collaboration and sustaining national stability.
In his remarks, President Irro updated participants on his administration’s recent progress and shared key takeaways from his diplomatic trips to the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia. He said both visits had opened new avenues for trade, investment, and regional cooperation that would help accelerate Somaliland’s economic transformation and reinforce its international presence.
The President reiterated that peace, unity, and reconciliation remain central to his government’s agenda. He cited ongoing efforts in Ceerigaabo as a promising example of how dialogue can bridge divisions and promote lasting harmony among communities.
