President Ahmed Abdi Kariye of Galmudug State hosted a security meeting with various officials and leaders in Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug State.
All members of the Security Council were at the 8 Session of the Security Meeting.
Together with President Kariye, they all listened to reports highlighting the state’s Security Policy and other plans that the entire region needs to implement.
Galmudug’s Security Office organized the conference.
During the meeting, participants also discussed several critical points, which include accelerating the Galmudug Security Policy.
They also talked about the importance of implementing a comprehensive security plan while liberating the state from Al-Shabaab militias.
President Kariye, together with his deputy, were elected on February 2, 2019 while promising to reform health, security, and education in the region.
