President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has already arrived in Turkey for a 2-day official visit.
The Somali leader arrived in Ankara on Sunday, July 3 to begin his official visit. The plane carrying him and his delegation had departed Mogadishu a few hours earlier.
President Mohamud is in Turkey at the invitation of Turkish President Recep T. Erdogan.
The Somali President is scheduled to hold high-level talks not only with President Erdogan but also with other senior officials within the Turkish government.
