Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, accompanied by a high-level delegation, has arrived in Ankara, Turkey, following an invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The two leaders engaged in extensive discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in key sectors, including Somalia’s fight against terrorism.
The meeting was attended by Turkish Minister of Defense Yaşar Güler and the Head of the National Intelligence Organization, İbrahim Kalın, highlighting the importance of military collaboration between the two nations.
This visit underscores the deepening ties between Somalia and Turkey, with both countries committed to working together on security and development initiatives to promote stability in the region.
