President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud urged the European Union (EU) to fund development in Somalia.
He issued this call when addressing the Global Gateway Forum in Brussels.
In his speech, the President said that Somalia is ready for funding from the EU.
President Mohamud called upon EU nations to fund investment projects in the East African nation too.
His speech tackled the issue of the transformation of humanitarian aid to development projects.
Mohamud expressed gratitude to the EU for continuously supporting and partnering with Somalia.
