President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended a ceremony held in Mogadishu to award officials in the recent elections.
The award ceremony took place on Thursday, May 26.
Officials from the various federal and state electoral bodies received honorary awards from Mohamud and other stakeholders.
Somalia concluded the electioneering period on May 15 after holding presidential polls.
Members of staff who also served under the various electoral commissions received their honorary certificates too.
