President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended the passing out parade of Somali National Army (SNA) recruits in Mogadishu.
The passing out parade took place on Sunday, July 31.
The colorful pass-out was for SNA’s 4th and 5th batches of recruits. They had been undergoing intense training at the TurkSom Military Academy in the nation’s capital.
During the ceremony, President Mohamud thanked the Turkish government for its support.
The Turkish government not only built the academy but also conducts training for SNA personnel.
President Mohamud reminded the new SNA recruits that his government remains committed to the fight against terrorism.
