President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended the Somalia Quint Group meeting in Abu Dhabi.
The Somali President attended the meeting on Wednesday together with representatives of other nations.
Some of the nations represented at the meeting included the United States and United Kingdom.
Participants from Turkey, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were also at the Somalia Quint Group conference.
They discussed the stability, development, and prosperity of Somalia.
In his speech, President Mohamud briefed the other participants on the importance of preserving regional stability.
He further reiterated the benefits of safeguarding hard-won achievements in the fight against terrorism.
The President called for support in upholding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia.
