President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud briefed a regional summit on the progress Somalia has made over the past year in different areas.
The President spoke when he addressed the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Heads of State and Governments in Djibouti.
His speech, delivered on Monday, spoke about the country’s achievements in areas such as state-building, politics, and counterterrorism.
He called upon his colleagues to support Somalia’s call for the international community to lift the prevailing arms embargo.
