President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia has concluded his 4-day official visit to Eritrea.
The Somali President traveled to Eritrea over the weekend. His 4-day visit ended on Tuesday, July 12.
He was in Eritrea to honor President Isaias Afwerki’s official invitation.
While in Eritrea, President Mohamud visited the Somali Embassy in Asmara.
He also spent time with Somali troops who have been receiving military training in Eritrea for the last three years.
President Mohamud and President Afwerki signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cement bilateral ties between Somalia and Eritrea.
