President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with Acting United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary-General (UNSRSG) James Swan at Villa Somalia on Tuesday.
They discussed several issues that included UN’s transition plan and its role in Somalia’s stabilization efforts.
During the meeting, President Mohamud emphasized Somalia’s strong commitment to maintaining close collaboration with international partners to ensure a smooth transition.
He also highlighted the importance of these partnerships in improving security and fostering stability in the country.
The ongoing cooperation between the Somali government and the United Nations plays a crucial role in addressing the security challenges and development efforts within Somalia.
