President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud led the country in honoring the legacy of Somalia’s first president.
On Saturday evening, the country held an event designed to remember and honor former President Aden Abdulle Osman.
President Osman, who passed away on June 7, 2007 served as Somalia’s first President from 1960 to 1967.
Several other leaders and representatives attended the function that was held in Mogadishu in honor of Osman’s memory.
