President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud hosted one of the country’s former presidents at Villa Somalia.
Mohamud hosted ex-President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed in Mogadishu on Tuesday.
President Mohamud shared his administration’s efforts to liberate Somalia from Al-Shabaab.
He further briefed ex-President Ahmed on the struggles of the Somali army and people against the terrorists.
Ahmed expressed gratitude at the warm welcome accorded to him.
The former President also wished Mohamud’s government and the people of Somalia success and unity.
