President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has launched the National Youth Development Initiative.
The initiative is specifically for Somali youth.
The new President launched the initiative in Mogadishu on Friday, May 27.
According to sources, the mission of the initiative is to help youth in different parts of the country to realize their full potential.
The expectation is that the youths would then play vital roles and contribute to the service delivery agenda of the Somali government.
