Mogadishu – On Saturday, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud presided over the official handover ceremony of Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) leadership in Mogadishu.
Outgoing Director Abdullahi Sanbalolshe formally handed over responsibilities to the newly appointed NISA Chief, Mahad Salad.
The President praised Sanbalolshe for his dedication and contributions to national security during his tenure, and extended his best wishes to Salad as he assumes the critical role.
President Mohamud reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening intelligence operations in the fight against terrorism and enhancing national stability.
