On Tuesday afternoon, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud welcomed Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers who were wounded in ongoing operations against Al-Shabaab in the HirShabelle state.
The President received the wounded soldiers at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, where they landed before being transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
President Mohamud expressed his gratitude for their bravery and sacrifice, wishing them a swift recovery.
During the reception, the President emphasized the government’s dedication to supporting the wounded heroes by ensuring they have access to the best possible medical care and resources.
