In a televised address on Sunday, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud declared that Somalia has entered a new era, stating, “Somalia is no longer as it was in the past.”
He emphasized that all key decisions now rest solely with his administration and urged citizens to place their trust in government institutions.
The President’s remarks come amid efforts to centralize authority and build public confidence in state institutions, following years of fragmentation and insecurity.
