President Musa Bihi Abdi reappeared in public to allay fears that he has been ailing. The reports regarding his illness began spreading like wildfire last night.
Today, President Bihi made a surprise public appearance purposely to put those fears to bed.
His public appearance took place in the company of other leaders that include Abdirahman Irro and Hon. Faisal Ali Warabe, who lead Wadani and UCID parties respectively.
Wadani and UCID are two of the country’s well-known opposition parties. Bihi hosted the meeting with the two politicians at the Presidential Palace.
Earlier, media reports that appeared a couple of nights ago indicated that Bihi had traveled to Djibouti to receive treatment for stroke.
The public meeting now proves that President Bihi is in robust health and capable of discharging his constitutionally mandated duties and responsibilities on a daily basis.
